Quiet Resistance

I'm pretty outspoken when it comes to what I want and standing up for myself, and this new era we are living in has me pretty riled up. I marched yesterday with the over 2.9 million women all over the country. My husband set up a monthly contribution to Planned Parenthood in our name with the orange man won, but I want to do more. So this is a place of accountability for myself and anyone who cares to join me.

Today's Goal: Contribute
I talked to my mom this morning who is an avid sewer and quilter. She was hesitant to attend the march yesterday as she was worried about having to move quickly in the face of potential violence (a concern I totally understood) so she stayed home and I went for both of us. Today we talked about contributing to the cause and decided that she could make pink pussy hats out of fleece and I would sell them online and donate all of the proceeds to Planned Parenthood. So that's what I did today. I'm also going to head on over to https://swingleft.org/ to see what I can acheive with the swing vote.
